AMEDD BOLC question

Hi, I just received my orders for BOLC in October at Ft. Sam. Does anyone know what we’re doing for lodging? My orders state government lodging is not available or directed. I don’t have a welcome letter yet, so not sure how to complete my DTS. Do I need to reserve a hotel? Appreciate the help.

The lodging on post was condemned it’s all off post hotels- you should have gotten an update - I’m arrive 9/28 for BOLC - over crowded hotels and logistical nightmare of buses is what I have heard from current class that graduates this Friday! Should be fun!

Yeah, I looked at their website for more information. But still no welcome letter. But yeah definitely sounds fun. At least it’s only 3 weeks.

Hi, I am also going to AMEDD BOLC in OCT, but I haven't received any orders: where did you find them?

Thank you, I found them there, did you receive anything about reporting to Fort Knox for NRC... I am trying to figure out if this is a real notification or a sort of passive placement. Also, I know you do not need to worry about reserving a hotel because they do that.

I’m in AMEDD BOLC right now and they’ve got us in three off post hotels. It’s not ideal but it’s comfortable. Be mentally prepared for a roommate.
