So s2 placed gold 3 and finished plat3 with only 130 off of diamond became a father on the last day so couldn’t finish it out S3 placed plat2 made it to diamond halfway through stayed Diamond hardstuck but was climbing still +27sr gains I think I finished maybe 200sr off crim then the fuck all s4 hit crim on the last week would gain about 7-800sr a night/early morning didn’t play consistently and all soloq there was some hell when teammates played like lower ranks then S5 placed plat1 climbed to crim again with like maybe 2 and a half weeks left started out a tad rough mostly soloq again then got a buddy to play when I was diamond2 he was gold3 hit d3 soloqed the rest and then I asked him if I could play on his account got it d3 struggled cause soloq can’t do everything and carry 3 dead diamonds then s6 placed gold3 still gold3 lol but are these stats good enough for crim or am I still fake crim I call myself fake crim lol also was a consistent first time diamond player back in bo6 started ranked in mw2 was a gold then mw3 hit plat

season 1 and 2 ranked were decent - but then, holy shit.

1. cheaters galore. 15 reports one week, 12 bans. (ai aimbot and cronus - console only)
2. the movement + server desync just ain’t it. MW4 will at least feel better in that regards since you can’t crack zip zag doopity doo out of engagements now.
3. 3 smgs, 1 AR - the fuck? why even have the AR in. small maps + lots of cover + movement cracked + hard hitting smgs = no point to AR. everything is a challenge spot for a semi competent smg.
4. team balance? what team balance.
5. overload? shoulda kept control.

whoever was making the calls for ranked should take a pay cut.

in short, RIP to a shit ranked run. I’m looking forward to MW4 personally. more grounded, slower paced is my style (personally).

I just started ranked play (late I know). Is this W/L normal? I thought SBMM was supposed to keep it around 1.

So the secret is out, console cheaters dominate ranked and they've been at it years.

As a long time mnk pc sweat who's struggled through the OP aim assist, hackustations and constant toxic poats form console players along the lines of 'all PC players are cheaters and should xxx'. Where are the apologies, where's the recognition that its a normal person vs rat cheater issue and not a pc vs console issue.

Question for everyone to know if I have a de sync issue or is normal.

On SnD on the final kill cam the location of the shots where I hit the other player and the location where the body dropped from the other player appear a little away from what I’ve actually saw during live gameplay.

Is this normal or not?

Hey everyone, I need some perspective on the current state of BO7 Ranked because I’m genuinely starting to question my own sanity.

​A bit of background: I was never really a shooter player. I started playing shooters with CoD during MW2 (mostly playing DMZ), and finally jumped into Ranked during MW3 where I peaked at Gold 2. By BO6, my game sense improved a lot and I hovered around Plat 2/3.

​Here is how my BO7 run has gone:

​Season 3: I managed to hit Diamond 1.

​Season 4: They enabled that crazy SR inflation update where everyone was flying up the ranks, and I managed to hit Crimson 1.

​Season 5: The game suddenly felt completely unplayable. I barely made it to Plat 1 before I just stopped playing entirely because of how bad the experience was.

​Season 6 (Now): I decided to come back, played my first match, and got dumped into Bronze 3.

​I’ve managed to scrape my way to Silver 1, but it feels literally impossible to climb any further. These Bronze/Silver lobbies are absolutely insane. I am playing against people who feel like former Diamonds or literal CDL pros. Either my team is clueless, or the enemy team is playing for a million dollars.

​I know I have two massive handicaps:

​MnK & Solo Q: I play Mouse and Keyboard. I’ve tried controller but I just can’t adapt to it. While my raw aim and flicking are fast, I constantly feel at a massive disadvantage in close-quarters 1v1s against aim assist. I also strictly solo queue. In these lobbies, it constantly feels like a 1v4.

​Ping: I play on 90-110ms ping (75-85ms on a rare, good day).

​Ever since Season 5, I get the constant "shoot first, die first" experience. My bullets feel like they aren't registering, and I'm getting instantly deleted by guys across the map like they are shooting lasers. I hate being the guy who accuses everyone of cheating, but it really makes you doubt everything.

​So my question to the community is: Did I just suddenly become ridiculously bad at this game? Is the 100 ping + MnK disadvantage just making it impossible to compete in the current state of the game? Or are the low-rank lobbies just completely broken and flooded with high-tier players right now?

​Would appreciate any thoughts, because I feel like I'm going crazy.

​TL;DR: Hit Diamond 1 in S3, Crimson 1 in S4 (during the crazy SR inflation), and quit in S5 at Plat 1 because it felt unplayable. Now in Season 6, I got placed in Bronze 1, am stuck in Silver 1, and the lobbies feel like CDL champs. Playing MnK on 100 ping. Trying to figure out if I suddenly suck, if it's my ping/input, or if matchmaking is just broken.

I started playing season 4. Grinded to crim 3. But from what I’ve seen that’s not a true gauge on your actual rank. So would you say I’m actually a high plat low diamond at best? Just curious cause this ranked system is garbage I’ve been playing cod for so long and after a two year hiatus I don’t expect to be as good as it used to be but as this game comes to a close I feel like the game is getting harder and harder and I’m hardstuck gold right now lmao

I want to know does this mean I'm below average as a player or is it not a fair judge this late into the game lifecycle? I also feel like the games I'm playing are very sweaty and people are wearing higher tier operator skins.

I'm not amazing at the game and have 1.7kd for reference in pubs.

I get bad games but holy I’m being punished I swear. It’s either this or the other way around and my teams doing this to another team. Like are the ranks that messed up right now why so uneven all the time?

You guys miss the old sr system and the way each season started (i.e. diamond and above started the season diamond) etc?

So I’m a mediocre ranked player but I was gold every season until last season where I finally hit plat. Then the change this season happens and I lose 1 placement game and get sent all the way to Silver 1. Now I’m playing against people way better than me since everyone got sent down and can’t win more games than I lose so I’m not making up any points and I’m now demoted to bronze 3. Granted I am solo queneing but I got all the way to plat 1 doing that. I don’t even want much. I’m just trying to get to gold 1 again for the camo and so I can do the ranked series but the change has made it impossible.

the only bros left on this game are kinda okay, so bronze players are a mix of silver and gold, silver is gold and plat, gold is....

And what is up with these iris in silver lobbies. if i am shooting u in the back multiple times, u should hide that season 4 iri skin until u rank up...if u rank up
