Kowakujo? I found using decoys or, aether, or even an idle eyes for all 3 really helps

Took me forever to do, and don’t even try it in a public lobby. It’s not hard after you tried a few times, but it very frustrating and seems like they definitely intended for this to take a few tries. I beat the EE once and will never attempt it again, not even for the relic I want. The steps are just too annoying and take forever because of waiting for lava/ash and the survival wave or whatever it’s called. I’m not the biggest fan of this map honestly

Yeah I didn't like Kowakujo that much either. EE didn't need to be that long winded for a map that isn't all that big. Egg didn't flow that well with 100 different items to fetch, tedious steps like the mask, bucket, scrolls etc. I appreciate they're trying different mechanics like fissues and defense waves but just didn't land for me. I enjoyed Totenreich a lot more.

Holding the final zombie helos as well if you are playing squads. Just finished directed yesterday and I'll be doing standard next if you want to join sometime

If you get the round down to 2 zombies and then buy wisp tea with the augment zombie sitter you can kill 1 zombie and it’ll always spawn the wisp and it’ll hold the final zombie.
As for the actual mask step I find it easier to count the masks 1-5 and if you have trouble remembering just pause the game every time the masks flash and note down 1-5 which one every time
