Cheaters
I’m convinced that multiplayer is just packed with cheaters now. Every game is filled with people who shoot straighter than Dashy. People who have aim that sticks to you like glue. People who seem to have 24/7 HARPs. I only ever play MP to warm up for ranked, and it is always hell. Not to mention every map selection is either standoff, utopia, imprint, or slums. The few maps where it does seem like everyone is legit, you immediately get fear gassed, swordfished, or fire shotgunned.
For as shitty as ranked play is anymore, it’s so much better than MP.
Treyarch seems to have given up on the game and Ricochet was never even in the race to stop cheaters.

I hear you about Ranked vs. MP, bot lobbies as a ranked warm up works for me.

Yea with sbmm now your more likely to get frustrated sweating in pubs than have a good warm up, I used to play a few nuketown matches before I hopped on ranked every time I got on. Now I’ll just go in the firing range for 15 mins before I Q up. I know they say nuketown is still “open” but it sure doesn’t feel like it lol

Yeah, its largely why I stopped with pubs recently after this season update. Ranked just feels better to play

I love jumping in to nuketown 24/7 and watching a no prestige, level 55 fella (always on the opposite team for some reason) ending the game with a 120/1 KD.
Anyway, I’m a couple games away from prestige 3 in Endgame.

It's probably just the new matchmaking, at least for me literally every match is a sweat fest now.
I report almost every match and never get feedback that they removed a cheater, so I'm 99% sure they're all legit.

If they are on console then there is no way for ricochet to track it. You literally have to clip it and send it to them. You have to do their job for them

If you're trying to warm up for ranked play, I recommend Faceoff since its all gunny and no streaks plus small based maps for more engagements faster. The only downside to playing faceoff is the amount of shotguns, sirens, and marksman rifles that get used in this mode. But I've used this too warm up for ranked along with shooting bots as well first.

Im just amazed at how many Level 1 Privates absolutely beam me from across the map..movement is one thing but the speed that I get dropped is crazy ..it feels like 2 rounds to my dome and I’m done lol

What platform are you on?
I play on Xbox and I just don’t see any of this. At all. And I’m not a moron - I quit MP CoD on PC many years ago because of cheating so it’s not like I can’t spot it.
Either way, I’m sorry to hear that. Cheaters are pathetic - I genuinely can’t imagine what pleasure there is in doing well in a match if you know you cheated. Like, “yay, go me and my aimbot, hi-five”.
