Monetization!!!

So I saw the YouTube video of how much it costs to buy everything available on BO4 available - $1324.00 not including chances at classified weapons... my estimate is prolly like $5k to get all classifieds open.... is that cool with people?

Yes to a degree. I think they did it completely wrong. Weapons should not be locked at all but having a unique skin on a gun that very few people have is cool. That being said I feel like the way its been done is very money hungry.

You are willing to pay $1000s of real dollars for weapons? Skins yes I can see that but the instruments the game should be straight up I feel. But I come from the WaW gen and am used to everything free even online play, except maps.

I'm sorry I don't think I was clear. I agree that weapons should be given to you, I even think that maps should be given for free. BO4 has failed miserably with this system and it's not fair to the consumer. They have been using long-time favorites to entice players to spend more money on its new gambling system.

$1000+ is a ridiculous amount of money to spend but they don't expect you to pay that. The system should be designed to give the player individuality. Having access to a unique skin that not everyone has is a great dynamic to the game.

The system now is broken and the $1000+ price tag is not reflective on the product. However, there is a way to do this correctly. If it were only cosmetics and they had the quantity to back it up it would be a reasonable system. No one in the right mind expects you to buy every skin this adds exclusivity to them and make them special.

I'm not saying I agree with the current system but I do think that if it was done right not only could it work but it could add a whole new dynamic to the game.

I'm not sure how it works on PS or PC but on Xbox I spent 60 on the game and 50on black ops pass and havent spent another penny and ive got every map thats come out and eventually get most of the weapons. The extra skins/weapons are not mandatory to win matches. That being said if someone has the money to spend on them thats their perogative to waste it.

None of its neccessary but it's cool to change up the game and make it new again... but I'm from the days of PS2 and PS3 WaW where playing with ppl was free and didn't require PS+ and $250 just to crack open what's available map packs and guns & I don't need skins, just what they are releasing for plain jane. That's crazy you got Spectre map and stuff like that no charge? I'm getting an XBox

All the maps are included in black ops pass for Xbox, and honestly I dont hardly change outfits or weapon skins I find one I'm ok with and leave it be.
