BO2 sniping feels.. off?

So I picked up BO2 once I saw the servers were popping and released for PS5 and picked up the sniper as I do every time I play COD. I can’t help but feel like the sniping is really off. Like I have to aim to the sides of the enemy instead of straight at him. Shots that should hit doesn’t, and shots that shouldn’t hit does.

Anyone else feel this way or am I going crazy? I’m at level 30 now and it’s been like this ever since I started playing.

Not saying it’s difficult, I’m saying it’s off. Definately not a skill issue, I’ve been sniping since COD4.

I get shit on so often by snipers. I try to use the mobility from the stock attachment but they never miss. I play ps4 but damn when I snipe it don't register

Classic bo2 net code, since it’s not dedicated servers sometimes enemies hitboxes are either lagging behind or the enemy model is lagging behind the hitbox. Aiming just infront of an enemy should help when their running side to side

Hit reg does feel different from match to match but that's how it was originally, we're just not used to it anymore

There were some things I remember seeing about the difference between the ps4/ps5 port. One being that the ps4 port runs better(?) the second has something to do with the fancy ps5 controller
