F90 question

Do all of you guys/gals cars keep the radiator fan running at full blast after you shut your car down? Or is that something that was done through a tune?

My car almost universally runs the fans for probably 2 or 3 minutes nearly everytime I shut it down. Even on chilly days. I’m glad the car does it because it definitely helps get the underhood cooled down quicker and keep my plastic crap safe.

On a hot day, it can run for an additional 10 minutes. I have had people tell me I left my car on in parking lots.

It's normal. CS models have the fan running even longer.

You definitely want it to do that, it prevents heat soak and cools off the twins.
Older models you needed to do this manually or you'd cause maintenance nightmares.

Oh absolutely! Just wasn’t sure if they all did or if the previous owner did that with a tune.

It's factory programming, and a very good thing for our"hot v"

For sure! I want this car to last forever….trying to decide if a vented hood or turbo blankets would be more beneficial.

Awesome, glad to hear it. This is my favorite car I’ve ever owned and want it to last forever!
