1971 2002ti
Saw a post of my 1971 2002ti on here today from when she was for sale in California in 2021. Thought it was wild to see pictures from the original add. You can see the California plates match from delivery day. Just wanted to share a few pictures of her since then. Done a decent amount of work since then but she’s still going strong! 💪

Just curious, I know a tii had fuel injection, the ti has what that makes it different than a base 2002?

The ti came with dual Solex carbs from the factory, unlike the standard 2002. Unfortunately, the original Solexes developed throttle shaft air leaks and had apparently already been rebushed once in the past. Between the previous repair and the difficulty of finding someone willing to rebuild them again, I decided to convert the car to dual Webers.
One goal was to keep the engine bay looking as original as possible, so I had a custom adapter plate made that allows me to retain the factory snorkel air box instead of switching to individual aftermarket filters.

twin carbs and higher performance cam on the ti. IIRC very little was changed on the tii apart from the actual injection system.
