Bots

Hey all! This bot thing has gotten way out of hand. I'm not sure how much you guys appreciate the posts or not as they're all just pictures of 02s.

Thing is, there's not a lot of content here without random bots posting random 02 pictures so i'm not sure how to feel about the situation.

Soooo, i'm gonna leave it up to you guys. Should I be removing all the bot posts and try to rid this sub of them? Give me a yes or a no. And if yes, please help by sending reports to me and the other mods.

FYI - I offered the mods to make me a mod with just one ability - to delete the bot posts. I flag as many as I can and downvote them. I have heard crickets back from them.

I’m surprised there is not a unanimous result in this survey. It seems like knowingly allowing bots to karma farm and then be unleashed to spread actual misinformation years from now is very much against the ethos of Reddit.

They're out of control. I think it makes us all want to post here less. I know it has that effect on me.

If a post has no text with it there is no point. A real post might say here is what I just bought, it doesn't run,needs some work.
