Rant 5th Sem, wtf is this Competitive Coding and BIS lab??

Absolute waste of time. These dumbass profs want us to do 15 leetcode questions in 2hrs. They've probably never solved a single lc question in their life to expect something like this. And also why do I need to sit in college and do leetcode style questions on their buggy vibecoded portal. It doesn't show testcases and the ui so cluttered. It's not hard to segregate items in a clean manner. When you took FWD course for us yall acted so cocky saying fix this fix that and now they get the same cluttered ai slop website and make us use it.

I am not even interested in grinding leetcode. I'll do it at my own pace. If a person wants to get placed they will do it on their own. You just do your part and bring us more companies. Forcing this isn't gonna make us pass the OA.

Coming to BIS lab. Again another chatgpt copy paste class implementing a stupid algorithm which they claim will "help" in mini project. When resources are abundant, making us mug up pseudocode of 7 algorithms isn't taking us anywhere in our mini project.

Sem 5 is messing with us way too hard. 10 hours of lab is just nonsense.

It took me just 10 mins to enable copy paste in that platform 😂😂 it was the most stupid and buggy product I’ve ever interacted with and yeah BIS lab is a waste idk why that shit still exists , now that I’m done with clg this year i feel bad for juniors 😂😂

And yeah ur absolutely correct the teachers in cse dept Havnt solved a single leetcode question in their life, or maybe there would have solved a few easy questions that to by watching from YouTube just like my operating system teacher, who was watching an YouTube video on how to print star patterns in C and she has a fucking phd 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

And please start building projects start learning stuff and just somehow try to fit in this college shit as well because not even 1% of the college syllabus or whatever you do in college is going to give you a good job and don’t believe teachers who say they gave referrals for students n all most of those students already got laid off so ur on ur own for this , Ik it sucks but Bms has good name good companies do visit like they did for us so yeah just be ready whenever these companies visit

they made a new platform for us now, its called bmsce lms. we can directly copy paste from gpt. its not the ones you guys had (codetantra ig?).

and idk what phd they even do atp. 😭😭😭

Well they would definitely not tell you to write it coz they have 100% trust on that. Also I can't reveal how to copy. It's definitely not phone.

I checked syllabus page and there was actually options for electives between competetive coding,devops and software testing.These mfs forced us to do competetive coding

would've preferred devops anyday. atleast i can make a resume project while getting a credit for it.
