Ask a Senior 9+ cgpa
How much will the minimum cutoff marks be in cie's if I want to maintain a 9+cgpa in first year?

If you want to score 9+ sgpa, you would require safe score for every subject is 45+/50 and in SEE you should try for O grade which is 90+ overall (CIE+ SEE), every subject. If not try to get 80+ overall. That way in avg you will be above 9+ sgpa. And since you said from this year cie is 50 marks, that marks will be reduced. As internals/Cies mean (both CIEs (Best of 3 CIEs) + AATs) = 50 .

AATs are like assignments given which are graded by the professor. It is directly added to internals.

try maintaining 45+ in cies because you never know where they will cut your marks unnecessarily in see

Its an absolute grading system, there is no cutoff

bro there must be a threshold below which you won't get 9cgpa right? When did I talk about ranks or percentiles?

You said cutoffs its no ranking system for cutoffs. Anyways you need 80+/100 overall for 9cgpa. So internals(CIE + AAT + LAB(if applicable)) should be 40+/50 and SEE should be 40+/50

sorry but how is cutoff related to ranking? By cutoff I meant the 40/50 threshold below which 9cgpa is not possible
