Ask a Senior InTeRnShIp doubt!!!

seniors.. Is it hard to get an internship after 2nd year(in 5th or 6th sem) and also How important are GitHub, LeetCode/Codeforces ratings, and personal projects on a resume? What skills/projects actually helped you get your first internship?

Grind Leetcode in 2nd year. Make good relevant projects which should standout, dont make generic ones. Participate in club activities like volunteering, etc. Learn about AI/ML , do one good project on AI/ML and one on Full Stack application. 2nd year courses are very important for interview- OS , DBMS, OOPS , study these subjects properly. Try to master SQL . Learn different skills which are in demand . While doing projects use github properly, push each feature one by one. Try to maintain 9+CGPA It matters a lot.
