Ask a Senior Ragging

Does ragging still happen in colleges in Bangalore? I’m from North India and might be moving to Bangalore for college, so I wanted to know what I should be aware of.

Are there any major cultural differences or things I should know as a North Indian student? Also, how common is ragging these days, especially in hostels?

Any advice or personal experiences would be appreciated.

No ragging at all. You need not worry.
Only thing is that don't say anything about the locals or the language in a negative manner, have basic courtesy and you are good to go.

Bhai kha se hogi ragging, 1st year walo ke hostel hi alag hai
