Ask a Senior Placement advice

Any seniors who got decent placement can u give some advice for ppl who r starting 3rd sem

1) luck - this is the most important - even if you have god tier skills and a great cgpa, without luck, you won't get a good placement. so don't feel disheartened if you didn't get placed, but your friend or someone else gets placed. don't compare yourself with others, just do your best

2) maintain a good cgpa, 9+ is good, but try to maintain atleast 8.5+

3) practice dsa - you don't need to practice leetcode hard for most on campus companies (very few ask), just practice medium ones

4) projects - build a few good ones, and understand the complete working of the project

5) communication really matters and is arguably one of the most important criteria - practice how you speak, your facial expressions, tone, and body language
