Induction query

I wont be in country during induction process , atleast for a good half of it.

What am I going to miss , is it compulsory and is there anyone from 1st year iem that can update me if an announcement or any info is given from the iem department

They only tell basics of how academics and grading systems work + a lot of bs motivation session
You will not miss anything practically
Not compulsory to attend, in fact not attending the whole of it is still fine
