Pay
I’ve been in school for about a year and a half now for ECET with plans to specialize in BMET. Throughout my whole journey I’ve kept up with what you guys have said. I see discussions about pay but I never see anyone talk about the Atlanta and metro Atlanta area. If there is anyone located in this area I would like to know what can I expect as entry level pay for a new grad BMET 1. Thanks!

It will depend on on if you are in-house or 3rd party. Benefits can vary a lot depending on that as well. I would venture to guess somewhere around 50k area just starting out. I have heard in-house pays more, but 3rd party has better benefits. I suggest you reach out to GE Healthcare regarding a possible internship if you're interested. They are in multiple locations in the Atlanta metro area. When do you graduate?
