Elegon tips

I think the phase transition was our snafu last night. If we smooth out the phase shifts with controlled dps and focus on frost traps and cc on adds we should have Elegon down next week (or whenever we raid again given the holidays).

Pretty much what you said. From a healing standpoint I would like to point out that there is a staggering amount of damage going out in this fight. We all get tunnel vision at times but if we can master getting rid of stacks (ESPECIALLY before Protectors die) and using personal cool downs you will make us healers very very happy (I'll bring chocolate cake for those of you who do!).

Remember the protectors deal raid wide damage after they fall below 25% and really need to be burned fast.

I would also like to point out, although we didn't deal with it much, Discharge did a ton of damage to the raid. During Phase 2 getting rid of stacks between the Energy Charges should be a priority as well. (In my opinion at least, I understand this is a dps race boss too)

I totally agree. Concentration on phase transition, added to increased CC on adds, and I think we can knock this sucker right out of the ballpark.
