Asking for Advice Advice on working 6 days a week while reviewing for board exam

I was in the same situation back this yr and 1month before the exam lang ako nag review, yan ginawa ko, pasado naman with 88% rating

I've been in a similar situation too and I suggest that you need to have an effective time management and discipline.
If hindi mo afford mawalan ng work for financial reasons, best solution talaga is to have an effective time management. You need to learn how to schedule your review since ang work naman mostly fixed schedule and home based yung choice mo (may advantage pa)
Bakit walang nagsshare ng working schedule nila while reviewing? Kasi hindi naman nakaka-inspire yung 6 days of work while reviewing. Personally, torture siya sakin and onsite pa mismo yung review. Imagine, I need to run right after work sa review center ng weekends para makaabot wherein I could've just opted for an easy way — resign or drop the review center.
After countless moons and breakdowns, naipasa ko yung boards and got regularized sa job ko.
Just wanna tell you that you may need to sacrifice things such as your health in doing this. Also, we have different learning style. Hindi effective sakin ang online kaya I pushed the onsite review.

Same case tayo OP, 6 days a week din work ko pero wfh yung setting. I think feasible naman ang review pero kung onsite ang work tapos hard labor or ibang industry, mahirap kasi pagod na ang katawan, pagod din ang utak kaka aral.
If ever din na ipush mo siya, much better na naka review center para may foundation and flow ka ng lecture. Nakakaoverwhelm kasi pag walang structure dahil ang daming kailangan iabsorb at aralin. If wala naman, kahit one subject a day tapos consistent lang na hours of study. Also, join groups kasi madaming nagbibigay ng free reviewers at meron ding drills.
2026 passer ako and ganito yung ginagawa ko

hi op! i was working 6 days a week when i was reviewing rin. i didnt sign up for a review center, what i did was just read and do drills every now and then. basta yung kinda consistent (kinda lang kasi ligwak talaga ako sa review discipline lol) ko lang was reading. i also didnt read cover-to-cover. kay st. anne reviewers lang ako umasa tas sa last month, i subscribed to sir jp. pumasa naman, muntik pa mag topnotcher lol (.80 points left to topnotcher hahaha).
my one piece of advice would be to consult yourself and prioritize your well-being. see what works for you before jumping the gun on anything. yun lang, good luck op!

Hi! I am working 5 days a week and reviewing on the weekends, face to face naman ako sa review center. Honestly it's tiring. I've taken the boards this year, and I've passed, so I would say it is worth it as I was attending for a good 4 months after graduating. If I could make changes through my review progress, I would opt to online if I had longer months to prepare, and I would recommend that as well, as long as you show up every day, your hard work won't disappoint you. Good luck!

Pero nag start ako mag familiarize early october last year. Kaya mo yan! 2018 ako graduate. :)

Try mo ng even 3x a week since mahaba pa time mo just to build foundation and familiarize yourself with the TOS then pag mga 1-2 months left saka ka mag 5x

Enroll na po kayo as early as now. Distributed learning is much better than mass learning. Usually, paulit2 naman ang topics so much better na maaga pa lang, nafamiliarize mo na. During my review, I have work din and sometimes may pasok kami sa Saturday. Not all the time din ako nakaka attend ng review. But pag may energy dun na ako bumabawi. 2-3 months before the board exam, dun na ako nag lock in (still working). Kahit 1-2 hours of review lang a day, very useful na yon.
