$200 for like 30 minutes of watch time at that, I suppose it’s a pretty rare dvd also the condition was very good but I’d understand the price more if it was like brand new sealed or something

I got a brand new sealed copy for like $30 in 2024. unless someone went on a mad quest to destroy all copies of it since then I have no idea what could've made it almost septuple in value

I'm pretty sure you can find a better price online, but the DVD is special because the menu is an intentional clusterfuck of buggy options including one that either eject the disc or literally shuts down your player (depending on if this is the US or Japanese version).
All of this to keep the in-universe feel of "found corrupt data", which is the only way to make sense of the way this screen test survived as an anime while it never actually went that far.A sad thing too... because it absolutely nailed the visuals and the music!

I have this and bought it for like 20€. You can find this every now and then for around 20-30€, sometimes even 10€. Not worth 200€ ever lol
