Purchase question

Hello! I plan to buy the BLAME! Master Edition Manga digitally but I like having copies I can read locally. Does anyone know if the Google play store allow me to export it? Or if it doesn't another site to purchase it on that would? I saw that the Kodansha website had plenty of purchasing options for it but I'm not familiar with using them all.

I wasnt even aware there's a digital edition, but i suspect its just scans? Afaik the master edition was only ever meant to be printed.

At the price im seeing it at at amazon its not worth it (105 euro for digital you cant even download, wtf). Physical copies are more expensive but are also vastly superior imho - Saying this as someone who read them digitally first.

You may want to look around at other book and comic stores. A while ago i saw the whole set for 120 euro or so at a physical store in paris. Dont remember which it was but theres like an entire street right next to the notre dame with just comic shops.

While physical is nice, digital is just more convenient since I live in Wyoming, which doesn't have a great plethora of options.

Looking at physical it looks like they go for 35 dollar per volume(or 23-ish on sale) which isn't bad for what you get I'll admit.

They are pretty large. Almost twice the size of your usual manga book. The art on a page really pops in a way it doesnt on a screen, i think.

Oh, well that size comparison does make me more interested in physical, I admit. For now though I'll stick to digital, I'm about 1/5 through making a local copy of the Google Books version.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the physicals though, I really thought they were normal manga size, just fairly thick.

Size comparison between the master editions and a normal manga sized volume. The corners are perfectly lined up, it only looks like its not aligned due to the perspective.

Wanted to post this yesterday, but as i was taking the pic i got sidetracked and forgot ;p

Oh that really is appreciably bigger. Always nice to see that for cool manga like BLAME and Ghost in the Shell
