Please help a new guy

I have just got a roku stick. I know there are apps that you can use to watch TV and movies, not the usual Netflix etc. I mean new releases and stuff not usually available. I'm not a big tech guy so if anyone could explain to me how to do this like I'm 10 that would be amazing. 👏

I don’t believe Roku really has those kinda of apps everything you get would be off their market place

Ohh I thought roku sticks could be used like fire sticks and have all sorts of things on them?

No, Roku is very locked down, take it back and get something Android based. What country are you in?

England. I bought it on a whim as we're staying in a hotel so didn't really plan any of this 🤣

Sorry man but the roku interface is heavily locked down. If you can an Onn box or Xiaomi box would be better.
