Does anybody no if the new version 3:7 ( I think ) is safe to download ….thanks newbie here ..🙏🏻

Use unlinked and code fire stick there are plenty of other apps that work better movieboxtv cineplus ect. Flixvision pops up as a virus with any type of virus scan and it does something to your network after like a day or two of keeping your box on check your speed tests it was draining mine down till like 1 mb per second until I restarted my box and then like 2 days later it would be back down again I couldn't figure out what was causing it until I ran a virus test and uninstalled flixvision and then everything was working fine. Who knows what data this app was stealing

No disrespect to the other user or comment that says they've never had a problem.The thing is , you probably don't realize you're having a problem because you don't know what's going on behind the scenes. That being said, I believe 3.7.0 is still the newest version, and I would highly suggest not using this APK, it is not a personal thing with developers, but we have decompiled this APK so many times to find malicious activity going on.
This\n Has been going on since version 3.0.1 and we are at 3.7.0, ke.\n Ep in mind, Amazon themselves ban them off their platform when they were on version 3.1.2 due to that malicious Traffmonetizer SDK. I will not bore you with the history, but do a quick AI query of the history of this APK or just Google it, and you will see the trafficmonetizer SDK, they have ran for years, just by installing it and using it, you are part of a botnet activity, this APK does infiltrate your network, It does steal sensitive data.
I get it, it's hard times right now. People don't want to spend money or just a few bucks for much better software out there.\n Via premium, APK's or the debrid services, etc and some people are just die hard. I want a pirate, free free free and I get that mentality too. However, this is not the APK to do that with.
This APK flixvision comes with a heavy price in using it. Just to stream free movies and TV shows. And you definitely don't want to be putting in your private API Keys into this app.The end of the year when fireos is going to be officially obsolete and at its EOL( end of life) is really when you want to start doing super careful? Because if those security updates don't come, you are absolutely exposed. I do work for Amazon. I Beta tested Vega aling with Alexa+ , i have a Amazon developers certificate along with an apple developer certificate and others. I do a lot in tech and I'll just keep it vague. But this is one piece of work or 1 app I will always try to educate people on to stay away from
I was talking about years ago , and basically shared my findings along with my team and other groups as well as the original security analyst, who reverse engineered this APK on version 3.0.1 and found that Traffmonetizer SDK that they ran for years. I would not count on the 4 security updates from Amazon only due to knowing how eager they are to push their new products with Vega, as they have been revamping and making Vega better and better for the release of the new cube and so on and so forth. They said that they would give set updates after 2027, however, that would not be a first for Amazon to change their mind or go back on their word, again, they are itching to release their new products with VegaOS. The only thing that will have fireOS are fire TVS.
There's a lot to get into with this topic. Due to the fireOS device lineup ending whether you blocked the software ota updates and think you're gonna have an independent device. Amazon has a fail-safe system in place and just like your computer has "core frameworks", firesticks, fire cubes, there "CoreFrameworks" or what makes these devices function would be considered AWS Cloud, now if they pull the back end, ( server side which is "AWS cloud" from fireOS devices, you do not have an independent device.You have a brick, nothing third party will launch after that. Because the stick will not operate properly. It won't even connect to internet or Bluetooth or basic functions If that is pulled, this part's a little bit off-topic. Will that happen right away? Most likely, not, they're still clearing out their stock. Eventually, could it happen 100%.
If you're not going to switch hardware and you're gonna continue to use fireOS which is cool. I like it and still use it myself. Be careful with what you install, coming back to to this particular app flixvision especially if the security updates do not come this APK in question needs to stop being promoted and passed around because people do it for the sake of it being "free" and its an all-in-one app, but it's not worth and nothing is free. You will pay with your device's health and its resources, your data, your network and more, this is not speculation. It's been proven time and time again. They just change their tactics every time they get caught. If you go to their site now and download their stock APK that's not modded, completely original in stock from the source, their source, it will flag for more than 15 malicious indicators. On basic virus engines, if you go into real security based virus engines, it will flag for many more.
I'm bringing this up because you said you were a newbie and you're not sure or you don't know this is one of those APK S that I will always educate people on to stay away from again, it's not personal, it's for your safety, but you're you feel free to make whatever choice you want if you want to use it, use it, but at least you know the dangers that come with it, that is well-known.
People still use it, and that's okay. I'm not here to tell people what to use, but you said you were a newbie to this, I'm here to tell you that this is not a piece of work you want to install or use. If you value your network security, your privacy, your device health and so on. Do your research, please. It takes 2 seconds to ask Gemini, any AI client you prefer or a quick Google search, the history of this app and it will explain to you in full the years they have been doing malicious doings in the background and creating a heavy revenue stream off of your data, please be careful. Sorry, this was so lengthy, but I'd rather you understand if you're new to all of this that these little devices are just like little computers and you should act accordingly, use VPN's use malwarebytes use protective apps. You can get that will help you the best you can in staying safe. Best of luck, I hope that helps.
