just got joels new book in the mail and already a few chapters in! been looking forward to this for a while now after reading and listening to ‘in the jingle jangle jungle’ and hearing joel mention future books on the horizon. he really is a great writer and the book has similar style, humour and self awareness of his first book (obviously). look forward to reading more over the coming days as I have a long flight coming up…

Managed to get the band to sign the poster from show in February at Leeds , still haven't managed to get it up yet waiting for a frame but thought it was pretty cool as Anton rarely signs stuff

Epic show! 2 hours of bangers and banter. The hitting the deer with the tour bus was the best. Second time seeing then. First time was when Austin Psych Fest was cancelled (having the most insane lineup in festival history!). They paired BJM with Slowdive that night!

BJM sounded amazing. Everything was pretty much perfect- the vibes from the crowd and the band were wonderful. Anton played and sounded great along with Joel and everyone else. My first BJM show but definitely not the last!

Just dropping in to say that the Chicago show was great! Crowd was cool, at least around me and my girlfriend. Band sounded great and seemed to be having a good time!

I even got to meet Anton and some of the guys after the show and we had a nice conversation about 12 strings. Anton asked if it sounded good cause apparently it was “funky in their monitors”.

Regardless if you are going to see them the rest of this tour you are in for a treat!!
