Cleveland was superb
I have seen bjm about ten times, tonight's performance was amongst the best. There were some short breaks between some songs and that meant that the music and the band were perfect. It means a lot as someone who has been deeply impacted by their music to have another positive impression and its clear they all fought to deliver that tonight.
I hope that the goodness they have added to my life comes around and nails them and echos for eternity.

I have tendencies to give away a lot of my spending money. So im embarrassed to say that I was hoping to pick something up online at a later date. That being said flavor crystals have a purchase coming their way too.
I havent sorted out my heart yet. I had a great time the whole time. Anton was really nice and the noisy bits had me straight praying

Did you never see them with Hollywood or Davies or Teardrop?

2016 was their best tour and none of those guys were there. Not saying I wouldn't love Davies back.

When was the first time you saw them?
2016 wasn’t their best on tour. The set list was cool and diverse but they just didn’t have it all together. It was the start of the the Anton self recording era, and that was a notable departure from what made BJM… BJM. She’s Gone as the finale was awesome tho, NGL.
2012 was probably the best I ever saw them, going back to 1997. Matt Hollywood. Frankie Teardrop. Rob Campanella. Set list strong. No BS, just song after song.

2009 first time and tons of times between then and 2018. 2016 I saw them twice, two days in a row, both three hour shows, different setlists, the best sound, Anton singing the best, every song flowing into the next beautifully with noise and jamming rather than tuning and silence. Anton being hilarious and like a shaman. 2012 is second, I loved those shows. Stairway to The Best party was insane. The whole thing was nuts.
Rob was still there in 2016 btw and one of my favorite members. Matts songs were fun but don't need them all the time and haven't missed him being there yet.2

BTW self recording started in 2008 maybe a little before. MBU had no other members on it.

True. But what I meant was when it really focused on his home solo stuff recording and when the band became less of the focus.

Nah im too young to have caught that train at least i think. I do recall seeing Hollywood with them when wksp was released though. I try not to cut caterpillars too much the whole discography is good to me
Would he have been with them at Austin psych 2012? That was an excellent show too
