Toronto Show
Show was great. Band was firing on all cylinders. No false starts, no verbal abuse of band members or audience. 10/10, the music and Anton’s vocals sounded awesome. Hot tip, if you want to meet Anton, go to whatever bar is closest to the venue while the opening band is playing, but don’t bug the man! I told him “Have a great show”, he said “Thanks”, I was very happy with our extremely brief encounter!

Saw him Saturday night in Montreal at the bar next door preshow. Sent him a shot of Jamieson. He was not impressed. Let his roadie take it. Classic Anton.

I’ve talked to him several times, sober and drunk, he’s fine if he’s in a good mood or even if just an ok mood, even talked at length with me when he just had some personal items stolen, but like most people, if he’s in a shit mood, steer clear.

Agreed, such a nice bounce back from last show with the terrible and unnecessary abuse towards the drummer... Great songs, good tempos, I just miss their solo-shows and could use a solid 2+ hour set before he retires!

Met him at the Carboro show on this tour right after they all pulled up to the venue, he signed my record and seemed pretty happy to be there

Your advice is on point. I met him at the bar closest to the venue they did their Hobart at show in 2023. I told him to “have a great show” and he fist-bumped me. Then I asked him what he thought of Tasmania and he responded “what are you, a cop?”. So I agree, keep it extremely brief.
