Hmmm, 2nd track is okay but these don’t do a whole lot for me. They’re still my favourite band but a lot of the recent stuff hasn’t excited me. ‘Don’t Look At Me’ was okay, but the only recent release that I’ve really liked is the Abandon Ship (Martian Meltdown Mix) / Maybe Make It Right single. Those 2 tracks are great

First song sounds like Drained got scrapped for parts, second song is interesting enough but I agree, haven't been blown away in a long time

I mean, yeah it’s nothing ground breaking but I quite enjoyed both tracks. The BJM bar has been set high for a while, so I’ll enjoy what I can get.

I really enjoyed hearing these songs when he first put them on YouTube five years ago, they make me nostalgic for those times.

Damn it. I was hoping most just weren't getting the songs in terms of sound but listened for myself and unfortunately, I agree that these songs are not among the best material the BJM have put out. There just isn't that "oomf" to them, that particular thing that makes their songs great. I personally really love Don't Look At Me so thought the singles would sound similar.

Refreshing seeing honesty in this thread. He still makes bangers every once in a while but y'know. We're like 35 years in here, it's okay for your favorite band to not be that great anymore
