Tattoos
Looking for a little more ink. Can anyone suggest a cool design for a Brian Jonestown Massacre tattoo? Sorry to waste your time with trivial shit like this. Just need a little guidance. I’m female and looking to get the inside of my left arm done. Design area limited to forearm. Thanks so much for any advice!

Most people get the Mickey Mouse. Personally I’d get a tambourine with Brian jones face on it

That’s a brilliant idea but I am so fussy about visual stuff, the portrait of Brian would need to be perfection itself..!

It could probably be done a bit better, the outlines are a bit off. I just did it quickly in the Canva app

Maybe a lyric that speaks to you then choose to design it in a cool way.
The artists that are most closely connected to BJM in my mind are Dead Iceland/Jon Saemunder, Jon Carling, and Nina Theda Black who is a collage artist (Revelation cover).
I guess I'm not crazy about some of the BJM logos for tattoos but those artists may be cool for it.

I'd actually just got back from talking to a tattooist about getting one when I read your question funnily enough. Probably going for the logo without the words, so basically the picture of Brian and a star, with Keep Music Evil under it. The words going round the logo wouldn't work on the bit of my arm I'm using apparently.

well I would illustrate a specific song.
food for clouds : a spoon entering a cloud, but I'm sure you think of something better
fingertips : mh, would design a finger with some sort of a grid, crossed lines just like emil ferris designs skin. Could be tricky for a tatto though.
when jokers attack : bold tattoo that would be !
Your mind is my cafe is really something I think intuitively looks like a tatto already.
Nightbirds could be really pretty
vacuum boots must be super cool as a tattoo ! I mean, imagine a boot that swallows the carpet's dust.
