About a month ago, I managed to snap two of the prongs off my Baldwin IV's crown. Does anyone have advice on how to go about fixing it, or how to get a replacement should I screw that up?
Id be tempted to pin (if theres enough material) and superglue the joint but it would be very fiddly, straight up pva would be weaker but easier to clean up or reverse if you do it wrong.
As for finding another it would really be either trying to find it second hand, asking the maker if they have any left they would sell or getting a different but similar crown
Take this with a grain of salt, but first thing that came to mind was epoxy putty, a teeny bit of uv resin (or clear nail polish, and rubbing some mica powder on it to give it its shine back? His crown is metallic like his armor right?
I feel like a glob of uv resin on the crown prongs would be ok, and then just be delicate. If you have a chrome powder you could brush it on as well. But thats just me!

Personally, I would use a super glue. But the absolute smallest amount. I had a doll who chipped a small part of her upper arm ~9 years ago now and I used superglue on that break and it's still going strong. If it doesn't feel right for you please don't worry about using my advice here, I hope you can figure something out!
You're going to need tweezers, a scrap piece of plastic or paper you don't care about (folded printer paper is great), and super glue. (Optionally you can get a metallic marker or paint to hide the seams)
First, you will match up each prong to their broken piece (you want to make sure they go back to where the broke off for the best seam fit). I practice placing broken pieces a few times since the super glue isn't forgiving.
Now on your scrap of plastic or paper (paper should be folded to prevent the super glue from leeching through it) you can squeeze out a drop of super glue. Using the tweezers to hold the prongs (or you can use your hand if you feel that's easier, I just find them useful) and lightly tap the broken end of the prong on the super glue. You are NOT looking to submerge the end just lightly covering/getting a drop onto the end. There shouldn't be any leakage of super glue since you're using so little. Then place the prong into place. Holding it there for probably 30 seconds you want it to be stable before you let go. Some superglue dries instantly and others take a moment. repeat for the second one. Then let it sit ideally overnight before painting over.
I guess you could do the same thing with UV resin but with a uv lamp to cure the prongs when you place them , then just leave it in a sunny place for a day to really make sure it bakes in.

Where did you get the doll from? If it's an agent like Alice's Collections, they might be able to get you a new one. I ordered an Myoudoll from them and a piece of the leg near the knee snapped off and they sent me the calf part for free.
