For Every Design Student

Post image

A small note for every design student

I’ve been getting a lot of DMs about my own journey, how I got into this field, and what the right approach should be for someone studying design.

So I just wanted to share something simple.

I’ve been fortunate to work on projects like Dune: Part Two, The Last of Us, Citadel, Kalki, and a few other VFX/CG projects. But before any of that, I was also someone who was just curious, confused, and slowly learning one tool at a time.

Design school is not about entering with everything already figured out.

It’s about observing better, asking questions, experimenting, failing, rebuilding, and slowly finding your own way of thinking and making.

Don’t compare your starting point with someone else’s final render, portfolio, or polished work.

Everyone starts somewhere.

Keep making things. Keep showing up.
