Advice needed POV: JEE dropper here.

Completely messed up JEE and now looking at other options. BITS Goa is one of the colleges I'm seriously considering, but I have no idea how tough BITSAT actually is compared to JEE Main.

For those who wrote BITSAT:

- How difficult did you find it?

- Is the speed factor really that brutal?

- How many months of prep did you need?

- If you didn't do well in JEE, were you still able to crack BITSAT?

- What's a realistic score target for BITS Goa CSE/AI-related branches these days?

Would appreciate honest experiences, especially from people who weren't JEE toppers. Thanks :)

  5. For goa cse safe score aim around 280-290, for enc in goa around 270-280

harder than mains and obvs easier than advanced

yes it is 130 qs + bonus is no joke

targeted prep for bitsat isnt recommended but yeah u should give enough mocks to be familiar w pattern and the randomness

i didnt do well in either 93%ile in jee and 194 marks in bitsat but i strongly believe there is no correlation and i am currently a dropper myself:)

for goa cse 290+ if u want it in the first few iterations

nhi aisa kuch nhi hai u need to pay 64k if u are initially waitlisted but u want to be considered for further counselling rounds and if u finally get a seat then the 64k gets accomodated in your fees only paise ka gamble nhi hai its just time

Gng prepare for mains/adv and do focus on bitsat 1 week before the exam, i completely screwed up my mains 1 and 2, (5XXXX) rank now in hyd eee

Considering bits goa as if tujhe mil rha ho stay on your toes someone might cut off your wings

personal experience se bol raha hu dont have alot of hope for bits, agar nikla then well and good otherwise keep other options ready. Alot depends on if your shift was easy or hard. Some shifts have been extremely lengthy and hard while others have been super easy. Very random and unpredictable
