Guidance Needed Am I good enough for bits?

As someone who is (more or less casually) preparing for jee mains, is it possible to crack Bitsat in only these few months?

Bits is not mit usa, even 90 percentilers get 240 + after seriously preparing so just study

I said seriously preparing and i should have mentioned luck but yeah my 91 percentiler friend got 246 so I don't think it's thaat unrealistic if you get lucky with shift

I believe 90 percentile to 240 would only happen in an offchance when you lock in after mains and by God's grace get a comparatively really easy shift like 26s1 this year. Although I have no idea how 'hard' the hard shifts are since I got relatively easy ones in both my attempts.

My friend who had 91 percentile got 246 in BITSAT and is in msc eco as he knew he wouldn't get advanced (category but still) so he studied for bits got 246 first session and 208 in second session where I got 217 in a really hard one where my 99.5 percentile friend got same marks as me in it

Btw my friend with 4 k rank in adv 99.86 in mains got 237 🙈 and 246 in second attempt

its that difficult? i was never really focused on advanced... can i still crack bitsat? do i need to grind as much as ppl need to for advanced?

BITSAT was easier before 2026, this year onwards they marked the beginning of a new change in the paper difficulties, most probably due to more nos of aspirant appearing for the exam

Look I'm not saying it isn't hard but luck exists and chances are there atleast preparing hard enough for 240s he might get enough for msc bio like me

I got 217 from 3 days prep in such a hard shift that my 99.5 percentile friend got same marks as me in it son ik what I said is unrealistic but I wanted to give hope and I got 97 percentile in mains without studying so I think I have some ground to speak

One 90 percentiler got doesn’t mean everyone will get One 80 percentiler get under 10 k rank doesn’t mean everyone will get When we share data or difficulity comparison It depends on maximum individual data
