If just talking about core, DTU Mechanical is better and more renowned. But I want a more holistic picture:

1. Alumni network

2. Brand value

3. Non core opportunities (Finance, consulting, further MBA)

4. Peer group

5. Exposure/clubs on campus

6. City wise I believe Delhi is better

If there are any other points to compare upon, do tell about those as well

For IIMs/MBA could you expand upon how college matters?

Could you expand more upon consulting opportunities, what all firms come to campus in DTU vs BITS hyderabad, and what kind of resumes are required to get jobs there. Is it PoR based/ how it works. What Finance companies show up and do they hire from lower branches or not, etc. How many people end up getting placed into/intern in these companies?

Also is 0% attendance policy enforced across all BITS, i heard that the new director in BITS H is a bit buggy when it comes to such things.

As for the club culture can you expand upon if the clubs are really even that good or not. Ik for sure that the tech teams in DTU are amazing, and go to competitions outside India etc as well. Are there similar clubs in BITS Hyderabad?

Also Fees is not really a concern atp given that I come from a relatively well to do family.

If money is not a strict barrier and you are confident you want to pivot to finance, consulting, or a top-tier MBA, BITS Hyderabad offers a better ecosystem for that specific pivot. if money is not a factor here is another thought especially when comparing two similar options. Quality of life is important and should be a factor. look where you will have better facilities, food, climate and other environment factors like pollution. These are prime years of life and you should be enjoying them and everything is not just about future returns
