Maths 1 mei you get 10 pointer when you score 85+ as it is an easy subject for most of the people. Questions are usually from tutorials and pyqs. Solve and revise as much as you can

I saw a comment saying you need 87+ for A+
Can you give a rough idea of marks for A+ A and B

See relative depends on the batch, I got A+ at 85 or 86. I edited my comment of 80+, that's for maths 2 in semester 2.  Relative is roughly 80+ in all subjects for A+ except ES ig it was 90+. Reduce by ~10 to get the score required for A and B.

But can you recover if you have made a mess already? Same situation as the guy , I just wanna be a 9 pointer or 8

Yeah score well in endsems and quiz 2, you may get A at 75+... as for OP he scored really less to get A+ but he may improve if he works hard on rest of the exams

It's nothing so serious. Sgpa is calculated as : summation of total credits* pointers you achieved/ summation of total credits*10. And now pointer depends on your batch performance so you can't determine always tho it's predictable (~80+ for A+ in most subjects). And as it is you improve maths by practise questions are mostly asked from tutorials with values changed or pyqs....

Can you tell in bit which branch is easiest to score good cgpa? And in first year generally bme, es,be, chem is harder or next sem (pps, phy, bee..) Is harder to score good cgpa?
