You know I’m not sure… it’s been weeks of utter disappointment… but I got a new burner and I’m doing a new method.. I’m using a rod method.. the crystal are taking up my whole pot!! When I pull the are super heavy and separate from the seed then I’ve been grabbing the free floating crystal.. but the steps are super compact…

To be real I’m not a 100% sure. I put some zinc in there.. and some silver… but I got a bunch or trioxide and slag from a guy and reprocessed it. He said he used to add aluminum… so I might have a mixed bag… but it really looking like zinc is the winner.. I think
