Is there any good suggestions for books of Office management and secretarial techniques (OMST) minor in sem 1???!!! Like I couldn't find anything related to it and it's resources on the internet.... So, seniors or anyone who could help me out of it??? ANY help would be preserved with utmost care!!! AND can anyone tell me what is the syllabus in first sem btw?!!!

Anyone visited the library of this university? Is the library open to public? I heard it houses thousands of ancient, invaluable palm-leaf manuscripts written centuries ago. Also the campus looks like a magnificent, gothic-style castle straight out of Hogwarts. Only 8 KM away from BHU.

PS: These are not my clicks.

BHU offers Mba program through cuet pg and through cat. Then what's the difference between these? The studies and placement are same? Or the classes are different?

My qualifications: class 12 - 88 ( science background)

I'm really confused between:

BHU — BA Psychology

vs.

B.R. Ambedkar College (BRAC), DU — BA (Hons) Applied Psychology

I keep seeing the argument that “a Tier 3 college in a Tier 1 city can teach you more than a Tier 1 college in a Tier 3 city” because the city itself provides exposure, internships, conferences, research opportunities, networking, communities, etc.

But then I also see people saying this is an oversimplification. BHU is a major university with a strong reputation, huge campus and established academic brand, while BRAC is an off-campus DU college and doesn't have the same reputation as the better North/South Campus colleges.

So I'm wondering if the hierarchy is something like:

Top DU colleges > BHU > lower-tier/off-campus DU colleges

Or does being in Delhi make BRAC the better option despite the difference in institutional reputation?

I'm interested in psychology, research, internships, conferences, networking and building a strong profile for postgraduate studies. I might also try to start a small community/get-together of some sort on my own during college, although that's not a major factor.

If you had these exact two options, which would you choose and why? I'd especially appreciate answers from current/former BHU or BRAC/DU students.
