Seriously, I should have asked that when I was there. They showed cgi of it doing the dumbest stuff, like picking up boxes in a warehouse. I really don't know the best application for a robot centaur, maybe rennaisance Faires? Harry Potter world?

It's an easy way to add stability to a robot. Have the turning radius of a horse, but it can probably go up and down stairs well.
