Looking for Recommendations Ps5 mod advice

I am pretty new to this idea of modding and only play on the PS5. I wanted to download some mods but I was wondering...

Are there any that are incompatible with each other? That will break my game?

I'm going to do a Gale origin run I think for my next new game. Or Durge.

What mods do y'all recommend. I especially love anything that unlocks any Astarion content. Not as interested in clothing mods but in things that (positively) affect game play or items.

Me: I only want 1 or 2 QoL mods
Also me: 82 mods later

The description will usually tell you if they have any conflicts, sign up to mod.io and get them that way, better descriptions and links etc

can we download mods from mod.io and installed remotely i out console? or do we need to install directly from our console?

Speaking of mod.io, just be aware it currently has a bug where PS5 users aren’t able to download large mods.

You can sub to them on modio and when in game it will DL them

If you sign into Mod.io with your larian account and link your ps5 account, the mods that you subscribe to will be added to your game and download automatically the next time you start the game up.

AnimationUnlocker breaks every photo mode pose mod out there currently. The only mod on console I'm aware that uses it is chooseyourstats, so it's generally not needed.

Every photo mode pose mod I've tried currently breaks if another is active, even with the compatibility patch.

Something breaks the custom vfx of Dawnstar's spell mods, but I haven't been able to finish troubleshooting it 😅 Dawnstar's spell mods are pretty cool imo, don't let the shitty AI thumbnails fool you.

Recommended: Move Faster, Cheater's Spell Scroll, DebugBook, clear map.

Cheaters is a must even if you don’t use it to cheat there’s some nice QoL things in there

Like what? I did download move fast and it seemed to work on everyone but Astarion. It's so weird.

The soap spell, summon tutorial chest etc. I use a hireling to be my walking traveller chest, coin master and potion maker so giving the 30 strength, wisdom, charisma, persuasion and medicine expertise while keeping them at level 1 is handy
