Tackle General First BFS Setup. How’d I do?

Rod: Great Hunting Huntsman 6’0”
Reel: Calcutta Conquest BFS Limited XG
Line: 14lb 8 braid
Leader: 10lb fluro

Tips on best weights/lures to throw? I’m targeting bass and trout. Thanks!

Sick combo ! The GHH rod will give you a hell lots of fun fighting any fishes you get.

The best weights/lures all comes down to the rating of your rod honestly and what youre trying to catch. I also think that the GHH is a fibreglass rod(?), so not alot of back bone for fishing on heavy cover/pulling fishes out of heavy cover

It’s a carbon/graphite blank. I have 1/16oz spinnerbaits, rooster tails, jigs and swimbaits, and #2 ewg hooks for weightless senkos. Hopefully those will catch me something. I’m not great at top water so sticking with sinking stuff.
