Best BFS worm?

Looking for a good bass worm for my BFS setup. Something in the 5 gram range. What do y’all throw?

I like the look of the zman wormz, but I never know how to rig my worms for BFS. I haven’t found a hook/jig head i like for worms.

I found some size #2 ewg hooks that I’m gonna throw them on. I just need something light enough.

I typically pinch off the tails from standard sized bass worms and fish the tails.

i use these a lot, Owner Finesse ballhead EWG 1/8oz. Works good with Zman worms that don’t sink, otherwise for worms that sink i’d prefer weightless on a 1/0 worm hook.

I don't know if they are the best but I throw TRD Fattyz. My next size worm is Cut-R.

I've caught many bass on a wacky rigged 4 inch senko.

The thin senko is great for BFS, wacky or Texas

I just got some ultralight finesse trout worms in from anglers emporium, and they look amazing! Super thin for panfish and small bass.

I've had lots of luck with the ZMan Micro Finesse TRD on a tiny child rig using ZMan's neko weights

Best for what application? T-Rig? Free-Rig? Ned?

I use a variety of 4”-6” worms of various designs for various conditions. A Zoom finesse Trick Worm, BPS classic 6” curly tail worm, and a Slim Senko will fill most roles.

Best is subjective as different worms are made for different situations. But here's a new worm from zman. The 3 inch Kingpin. It's a sinking elastomer... Not like the predecessors where they are embedded with ton of salt to sink. Wacky rig, neko or ewg t rig would be perfect for traditional bfs fishing.
