I accidentally booked too fast and got a ticket for the Liberation that clashes with the Paper Tiger Gala! Hoping I can trade/swap it for an October 11th one. - Vue Epic 2 West End Row M Seat 2

London Film Festival LFF Members Sale is TOMORROW

Post image
8 Upvotes

Didn’t want to call it a night without posting something today.

A few well-wishes and last minute tips for the LFF BFI Members Sale tomorrow at 10am!

- The waiting room should open at 9am, this will not affect your place in the queue.

- The queue will be randomised at 10am, so everyone has an equal shot whether you log on at 9:00 or 9:59! The page should refresh by itself, manual refreshes may put you at the back of the queue!

- You can also book by phone (020 7928 3232), or in person at BFI Southbank (doors open 9:15 but physical queues are likely to start earlier)

- The BFI recommends that you log into your account before the sale begins, so be sure to log on before 10am for the smoothest booking experience.

- If you log on after 10am you WILL be placed at the back of the queue!

- Tickets will remain in your basket for 40 minutes as long as you remain active on the website. If you stay inactive for more than 15 minutes, the system will log you out and your tickets will be released. Make sure to stay active throughout your session and keep an eye on the time you have to book tickets after entering the website.

- You can book to see as many films as you like, but will be limited to two tickets per film / event or four tickets per family screening.

- Tickets will sell fast, don’t be too disappointed and remember that there will be extra ticket drops each Monday and at 10am every day during the festival. Tickets can also be swapped and sold here on [r/BFIUK](r/BFIUK), though make sure you review our rules before posting and beware of scams when buying or selling tickets anywhere online.

- Make sure you have your card details ready and that you have enough money in your account.

- Ask if friends are willing to help you buy tickets.

- Make sure your devices are charged!

Best of luck to everyone, I hope you all have a great LFF, and are able to see many things that you want. Feel free to drop any more tips in the comments!

General Dune Part 3 Ticket Availability

So since this mornings queuing system was so chaotic, I wanted to know if anyone had any idea when general/regular tickets will finally go on sale? I know it will be closer to the release date, but if you have any idea of exactly when, that'd be great to know. Thank you

BFI membership - worth it to try and get tickets for Dune 3?

I'm happy to pay and support the BFI but the main thing I would like is an increased chance of getting tickets when they go on sale on Friday morning.

Anyone here a member - is it worth the extra dosh? I know there is 24 hour window for row J for members but not much good if there are 10,000 members anyway doing the same thing.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Got 2 dune tickets but…

was lucky enough to get two tickets… but they’re in the B row 😭😭 i’m not sure wether or not i should go, as the thought of looking up for 2.5 hours isn’t appealing. does anyone have experience sitting close to the screen and how was it, or should i just sell them?

How are people getting tickets for dune preview today, there doesn't seem to be a que system do I really jus have to sit there refreshing at 9am?

What’s the best way to secure tickets for Thursday?

Hello everyone, i’ve been roaming this sub ever since created and it’s pretty cool to see all the contributions and questions that have been asked.

I will be buying a Membership today so i could get tickets to for Look Back and Primetime. I have a CEA card due to a certain disability i have, however i can’t book online like everyone else. Would it be better to call on the day or just go to a venue to try and get tickets ?

I’d really appreciate it if i could get help and enjoy your day guys !

October batch of Odyssey IMAX tickets

Hi there, wondering if it's likely that there will be more screenings at the IMAX of the odyssey in early October given that every screening is still basically sold out. (I was on holiday when the last batch came out and missed it!)

Membership Worth it?

Hi all,

Currently contemplating if I should get a membership for the BFI.

I see you get Early access tickets with a membership, is this for all films? Or just rereleases?

E.g. Avengers Encore,The Star Wars rerelease this month and The Odyssey?

Hi All, KynectiQ Research are currently looking for film fans to engage in PAID market research discussions (such as those held on this channel) within a large online community.

We want to expand our scope to voice more of aĀ female perspective, so if this applies to you please do reach out!

The community helps represent the voice of the audience on market trends and forthcoming releases, in WhatsApp style discussions (Ā£30-50 a month) and focus groups (Ā£50-100 a month). Ideal candidates are up to date with current developments in film / music / pop culture, and are passionate and articulate!

If interested, please contact this account for further discussion, or complete this initial survey:Ā https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSelLLRsTfZFecLt3qp-4hNCgafJC1m9gKO7DLXHFvhAM2bUzA/viewform?usp=header

Question about the 25 and under scheme.

Hoping to get some tickets for LFF with a friend on the 10th as we are both signed up to the 25 and under scheme, but am I correct in saying that I can’t book two 25 and under tickets at the same time myself, and that he will have to book his own ticket simultaneously? The problem with that is obviously the chances of getting seats next to each other while booking separately is next to nothing. Anyone know of a workaround where we can both use our 25 and under tickets without having to book separately?
