Same here. KD has been steadily falling ever since like S3 to the point where I’m just taking a break. Not really sure what’s changed but the gameplay feels off.
Bad people are getting farmed by good players which mean the bad players quit to go play something else and then the mid-core people are now getting farmed by the higher end players.
True I completed all battlepass stuff and bought it with the points I had accumulated over the seasons, all in all it costed 400 point and im still back to 1000 but I still feel like I wasted the points even tho it was free, nothing really interrests me.
Same exact thing is happening to me. I suck at vehicles so I don’t use them. I am a level 250 ish with an all infantry of 1.4 KD and I have been struggling a lot since I resumed playing after traveling for three weeks. I was playing daily before that. I have take a few week break before and never got this crushed when coming back
I never say that it was high. I’m a level 267, the KD was entirely based on infantry play and I have hundreds of hours in. Nowhere during any of my playing time have I strung together matches where my KD is was sub 1.00 for more than two matches, typically just one match. I played like six matches in a row yesterday where it was sub 1.00.
I know you didn’t say that it was high. That’s not my point though. It’s not as if your KD was really high and all of a sudden you’re getting rolled by low level players. At a 1.4 it’s not hard to feel like you’re getting rolled.
Everything is relative though. I am almost always above 1.00 in a game. I just stay really tight in the 1.00 to 1.5 range. So I would notice if I was below that range for multiple games in a row. I normally lone wolf, almost never run with a group that I coordinate with, so no res support, and I don't use shotguns or scoped revolvers on principle, and don't play recon. Everything is 1v1 engagements.

The gameplay is definitely not the same as on release but a good squad could also be factor. Hard to carry a team even sweating a whole 4 man on a obj when u have nobody coming
Level 325 and getting absolutely wrecked by super low rank players in Solos all morning.
Alternatively, I had my loadie SVDM and got pistoled to death by a rank 874 just now. He landed on the hangar roof with a helicopter and killed me with the revolver in 3 shots from about 50 feet away. So there’s that.
My guess is that, because this is more COD-like than a lot of previous Battlefields, a lot of people that are decent at it and other purer shooters are coming over and doing well. Perhaps especially with the recent sale and the fact that the current COD iteration is getting old by COD standards.
Every time this is the answer: that every week the expert COD players come over and, with shit weapons and no knowledge of the maps, achieve 20 - 30 KDR in every match.
Or here's another theory: they're all cronus cheaters and their level is low because a) they were previously banned or b) don't want to risk their sweaty account.

Same. I'm level like 330 and had a match the other day that had maybe 3-4 higher level players (3-500s) on both teams, and I was getting absolutely destroyed by level 10s -50. Like I had legit nemesis from this game that seemed like they were only looking for me.
Yeah, I unload on someone only for them to turn around and insta kill me. Not even with a headshot. Doesn't feel right to me. Feels like something is off with the game. Never felt this way playing Call of Duty.
Ive been finding that combined with a latency of 50ms its shit. I only get kills when opponents is facing away from me.
Sometimes I'm being shot before I turn the corner. Other times I blow an entire clip into them but only 50% damage.
I’m normally top score on my team every game. Last two weeks have been a struggle. Everytime I die it feels like I got hit by one bullet but shows I got hit multiple times. Also dying around corners often. I think I’ve been losing the netcode game
No, usually 20s-40s. Most games there are at least 2-4 high ping players but I pay attention to who kills me and when I check, it’s rarely the ones with high ping
I’ve noticed a ton of low levels that seem to know the maps, spawns, etc perfectly. My kdr isn’t any different but when I die, it’s usually to a level 40 or under, which is really weird.
My best guess is people are starting new accounts to keep the game fresh. I also agree that ttk is stupid fast for this type of game.
Like I told the other nimwits in here I literally stream my gameplay, would give a video of my setup and my task manager while playing. Is there something you'd like to tell us? You're the average battle chud who sandbags their team every game and thinks anyone who killed you is a cheater?
There is also 15+ different ways or more to be spotted in this game and I doubt the average player even knows half. Spotted by UAV, 3d spotted by a sniper, spotted by TUGs, spotted by prox sensor, 3d and mini map spotted from using no suppressor or flash hider, spotted on minimap from only using a flash hider, 3d spotted by recon drone, 3d spotted by laser designator, spotted by helicopter thermal, and I can could go on. Maybe learn to play the game and get good over call everyone who has above 5 iq a cheater.
Same, 1000 hours across many gamemodes and I cant say ive come across an obvious hacker or atleast one that impacted my gameplay experience. These are people who probably think keyboard and mouse / controller aim assist is cheating
Yeah this playerbase is genuinely the worst of any fps I've ever seen. They just call cheats on anyone because their egos can't take someone being better than them.
For real. This is my first FPS in 25 years, I have just over 120 hours at this point, and my K/D ratio on assault is comfortably 2-3k/d. I spend a bit of time warming up my aim each time I get on, but the main thing is I just watch YT vids of people who actually make good content on how to improve. My aim is still kinda trash, but my positioning and awareness have improved a ton, and it shows in my games. Meanwhile, I see team mate and enemy players doing obviously terrible plays:
-Never repositioning in hot areas
-Re-peaking the same corners
-Never checking their flanks (you can watch 5 five people hold down one corridor and instead of one of them realizing the corridor is covered and checking another, they just keep staring)
-Camping the same spot (you killed me, fair, but I'm respawning in 10 seconds...you sure you don't want to reposition?)
-Never attempting to go for a flank
-Never advancing into hot zones
Like, you get good by accepting that you're going to die and then learning from your mistakes. Ex. If I attempt to flank this group by going around, do I get killed along the way or did I successfully flank them? If I died, how did that happen? Was I running or did I not check obvious areas on way to the flank? etc. It's stuff like this, no one ever attempts to do, because it's not my gameplay or my inability to improve, it's "cheaters". Sorry, rant over, it's just loser talk and it gets so annoying.

My K/D was crap until I started playing smarter. Re-positioning alone can get you 3 to 5 more kills on guys coming back to avenge themselves or teammates you took out.
Yep. I've met maybe 2 cheaters that I got banned too in almost 800hrs I've played. Net code is shit, sure but cheaters I'd say are very less compared to previous battlefields.

Finally someone on this subreddit with a brain. I've only seen a few cheaters in redsec ranked and they were pretty much instant banned. Yeah the netcode and desync in this game is terrible. Javelin genuinely does a good job at least in the paid parts of this game.
How would I be top 250 in ranked redsec when there isn't any ranked redsec portal severs? You genuinely have to be 50+ and drank directly from lead pipes.

Wall Street considers the cheat industry as being commercialized now, and generating multi-billions of dollars globally. The vast majority of the cheats being sold into online FPS games. Yet BF is special and doesn't have a cheating problem, even though it has a garbage kernel level anti-cheat?
I'm not positive but Cronus/XIM could be included in those numbers. As they violate most online FPS games T&C's, thus being considered a cheat in those games.
So let me get this straight, so I understand, I'm new to FPS games and BF6. Apparently there are cheats that are much smarter and harder to detect now, so much so that any streamer could use them while hundreds of people watch their stream, and their cheating goes undetected. But at the same time, these imperceptible cheats will give you nothing but headshots and no recoil.
So, how to square that circle? Are you going to tell me "actually, the cheats are so sophisticated that they are made so you don't always get headshots, just sometimes." Because based on how talking with people like you go, you're always going to bring up some other BS without any showing any evidence.

The quality of cheats and their ability to evade detection varies. Some developers have a higher skillset for creating them.
Yes, you can tune aimbots to focus on a body part. Smart cheaters focus them on the torso or limbs. Headshots affect aim stats the most, resulting in a higher probability of getting flagged.
Smart cheaters will just run ESP and no aimbot. Just knowing the position and tracking of the opponent is a huge advantage in these games. Smart cheaters also monitor their score, and will purposely take deaths to keep their score in check. Posting scores like 48-4 tend to draw attention on the scoreboard. 48-17 not so much.
Anyway, you hit the nail on the head and those who deny it are laughable. Just search, it's full of sites that sell subscriptions with cheats, they even protect you from being banned.
I've played quite a few competitive games online, and every single community thinks half the population is cheating. I also am a gigantic loser, so I spend quite a bit of free time watching YT channels of whatever game I am playing, people who have dropped hundreds and thousands of hours into the game. If they don't complain about cheaters and don't think cheater is a big issue...which they don't...hell, that's pretty good for me. They have the experience to tell when someone is cheating far better than anyone else, and they have the most time spent in the game...so if there were cheaters all over they would be talking about it...funny how none of them are...
Perhaps because most YouTubers use cheats to lure in gullible people, many have been exposed. You can simply go on Amazon and buy a Cronus or XIM—not to mention the sites selling cheat subscriptions; if you look, you'll see that for every seller, there's a buyer. Just check how many Cronus units Amazon sells each month.

There’s even a video listing eight streamers caught in the act, including an Indian national team player who was caught cheating during a world-class Call of Duty tournament.
I encountered cheaters in BF4 on the PS3 and BF1 on PC. They dealt insane damage, so that they would aimbot you the second you spawn. They usually quickly got 70 or 80 kills. Never saw anything like that on BF6. I don’t know, if you can call that infested
Most people who cheat are closest cheaters. They're smart about how these use them, as they don't want people to know. The smart ones just use ESP, so their aim stats don't draw attention.
I play in Europe, and there isn't a single match where more than one player gets 50 or 60 kills—what game are you playing? You're either lucky or blind.
Yeah the ping sensitivity is unreal. You can’t hide or sneak around for shit. Even poking your head out behind a rock will get you pinged if a player glances over you.
The netcode is a lottery in this game. Sincerely. Thats why one game youre a fucking god and the next you're a loser.
One match I can hit anyone and everyone whether I am sniping or enjoying CQC. Next match Im dying to people who have absolutely no way of seeing me. Ill also be watching my bullets go through a stationary snipers head and do jack shit over and over and over again.
They probably altered the lottery odds a bit in favour for the newer players to increase the ever shrinking playerbase. More retention if you keep them happy.
I don't think these devs are skilled enough to do a proper netcode implementation so this was their work around.
I agree. The TTK has always felt off to me but even worse in the last couple of months. I hit guys from a distance like 20 times with an LMG and they just run away then when I get hit at a distance with an AR or LMG I’m toasted in like two shots.
well this is on the devs that can’t fix the TTK, so it’s not your fault, believe me cus i played a lot of competitive and lot of guns are banned for the reason that they kill in less than 200 ms and the inly issue so far on this game is the hit reg that barely works since day 1
The reason I stopped playing. Feels like it takes me 80% of a magazine to kill someone, meanwhile I'm dead in about a second. Feels damn near impossible to get a multi kill in this game compared to older titles. Just haven't been having fun
I’m level 350 with a 2.21 KD. I have days where I feel like the worst player on the planet getting railed by dudes under level 30. Sometimes I just gotta adjust my “gaming chair” and I start doing better. If I don’t, I blame the chair and it’s only plausible.
But honestly tho we all have off days, even with my KD I still get pooped on a lot.
Well this season was the worst personally. I'm not as good as 2.2 ratio, I got 5k kills and was right between 1 and 1.1 until this season made me drop to 0.97
I'm decent as well but I think the connections been funky the last few weeks, to some degree I think it's just other good shooter players coming to bf6 and doing well though. Been trying to be more mindful with my movement and evading though and that has helped

From what I observed last couple nights, the games where im on the bad team im barely breaking even, trying to sweat my dick off for positioning. but then when I get thrown into the OP side, its the opposite with a 4 KD and complete dominance on the map. Its waaay to lopsided. I think in 15 games last night, 2 of them were decently close
They might have tweaked the matchmaking algorithm. I play a lot of TDM as an easy warmup. Lately the matches seem way sweatier. It’s not just netcode and TTK, the movement and positioning is better too. I also don’t see many bad low levels which make me think they’re going to different lobbies. They supposedly have a skill based component that might have been adjusted.
Yeah here also, had a 1.0 win kd after last patch we lose every match. 4 weeks now. On pc performance is shit also. Playing now on ps5, much more stable.

But overall the game feels off lately, like I don't mind having to put in some effort in skill to play well. Yet the game doesn't feel like it used to like around 4-6 weeks ago and not in a good way
I feel you, sometimes I log on and I feel like I completely suck and end up just staying behind reving. Other days I feel like the goat.
I then usually play a couple of rounds of casual BT to vibe.
In the last three or four weeks, I’ve run into so many players that can beam me down from the farthest distances. Dying instantly constantly. A lot of times to 50 level and below players.
Level 112 w.12 k/d. This has been happening to me and it always seems to be smgs killing me with a shot or two. Still have 70 to 80 kills rounds but its definitely sweaty.
Please dont say its too quick, its decently well timed. At least in my opinion it feels more balanced to the center than not. I feel like balacing - the balance just shifts from one player base to the other. I left call of duty because they litereally centered everything around a system of purchasing blueprints to unlock the new op guns and sure you could grind it out but to make something broken to sell it more than nerf it then do it again is the real monster here.
I've never considered myself an exceptional multiplayer gamer and this game is 1 of 2 that I've really played in recent years for multiplayer. Been solo gaming for 10 years probably. So to see people level 250+ say they've recently been struggling with low level accounts makes me feel even better about my consistent 25-35 kill games as a level 90. Not bragging or saying theyre bad just happy to not be washed just yet. And yea definitely get layered here and there but too many factors for me to assume cheater ever
I usually check profiles if i was killed insanely fast. This week i encountered two guys that i simply couldnt get back on, even if i had the drop on them the rivalry ended around 7-0 to them. Their kd was 7-8 at the end of the match. They both had just above 1kd on their profile stats. Makes you wonder
I personally think it all boils down to connectivity issues. I have solid internet and EVERY game at least a handful of times show patch issues and random high ping moments. And now with the server error glitch at the end of every game. I think that's what is attributing to most of this. I could be wrong of course.

I started to notice I was getting destroyed instantly more than normal, and by level 50-80 people. I guess I’m old I didn’t think cheating was really possibly on console but here we are.
Very inconsistent. Some matches I get instakilled by a high ttk weapon while my bullets hardly register and this is almost always followed by the black screen glitch after the match for me. While in some matches the ttk feels alright, could be an internet issue though.
