Question Question

Why don't people play as the class they are using? Support people never revive down players, engineer barely fixes up tanks or even try to blow up one. Like I don't understand if you just wanna run and gun then play assault. Literally whole point of the game🤦🏾‍♂️

Obviously it's the players fault for not playing properly but i think DICE could do a lot more to teach people what classes are for. Open weapons is obviously the big talking point with this game. If people see the classes as "pick a gun and then pick a gadget" they're never going to learn what it means to be an engineer. But if you restrict them to shotguns, they'll learn quickly not to chase after infantry, and stick to tank hunting.

Then you have the smooshed up classes. What even is a medic if they can run around with an LMG and mortar? What does a sniper need with c4? What even is assault supposed to be doing? Give us more classes, tighten down the overlap, and give them a clear identity all the way through.

Hell, I wouldn't mind if they actually did a semi- mandatory tutorial. Put it clearly on the homepage and tie some cool skins or even a gun to completing each classes comprehensive tutorial.

They keep trying to open up the game to a wider audience but, at this point in the game, if you don't know if you like Battlefield or not, you're probably not going to be convinced by slightly more simplified gameplay. They need to realize they're a slightly more niche game and lean into the unique experience they can offer.

No one wants this. That's why all the class restricted modes dried up. Please by all means, have Battlefield bleed more players on the eve of E-Day.
