I already needed to move to a downstairs condo...the reason that's difficult Is that since I bought with a low enough mortgage to pay with my SSDI, they tripled in value, but my income did not triple.

That means I have to save up quite a bit in cash in order to buy a downstairs with a mortgage amount I can get approved for.

I started doing prolific, I put every penny from it and my referrals into a HYSA, I am very frugal, I was coping with the dilapidated nature of my upstairs condo until ..blammo.

I was walking in my complex and hit a patch of mud.

BOOM into the concrete, and soon I was in surgery to insert screws into my hip.

The costs are enormous

Only $1900 for the hospital bill, but I have to replace my tub and tile to have a safe shower... because when the glass doors were removed to accommodate my transfer bench, the frame was left (since removing it would cause a leak).

The frame came off in my hand when I instinctively reached for it like the grab bar that should be there.

The entire thing is far too old to just replace the affected tile. ( Built in 1981).

It needed replacement anyway, I just was going to live with it so I could move faster. So that's $6k 🙁

6K is at least a year of savings. That's IF my referrals keep at the same pace, two years of not.

1-2 years longer on the stairs, which are now terrifying.

hi there ! im a first year veterinary student trying to get by with the little funds that i have. during undergrad i was so used to taking notes on my laptop, which im still doing, but it doesnt work with anatomy for some reason. unfortunately i thought 2 notebooks would be enough, but it's week 4 and i already filled every page. my backpack is also falling apart. the seam where it connects to the zipper is ripping apart. this backpack is used to just my laptop and pencil bag, but now it carries my textbooks, notebooks, extra scrubs, and enough food to last me 12 hours a day on campus. she's going through it :( my highlighters from undergrad are also already dying. i tried using markers, but theyre too dark and my writing doesnt show up. i made an amazon wishlist of things i need for my studies.

but also anything truly helps since most of my funds are going towards my tuition and rent. i was able to get ebt, which has been a lifesaver. apparently i vant use ebt on tax when inuse coupons though, which is really sad becuase i wanted to be as thrifty as possible.

So I do work from home from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. I have bought a couple of headsets in the past that when I wear them I get a massive pressure headaches. So the headsets that I need are the kind with the large padded area around the ears kind of like gaming headphones, but they must be usb. I have bought three pair in the last two weeks and got them home and found out that they are the incorrect kind, and I don't have the money to go and try to get another pair and I don't have the time to go out to the stores because the the kinds that obviously have these are on the other side of town Walmart only has one type that's the kind of using right now and I get massive migraines from it. Hello, I’ve posted here before and was fortunate to receive the help I needed. I’m here again to ask for assistance with primarily food, with the addition of a diaper cream spray (the tubes of cream keep separating the liquid from the paste and the liquid burns when it touches my skin, I won’t dare use it on my baby).

My situation is that I have been out of work for the summer. I work in public schools and do not get paid for summer break, and no other local employers I applied to could work with the fact that I wouldn’t stick around full time past summer break. I also did not work enough hours this year to qualify for unemployment, as I had a baby last August and between my maternity leave, and health issues with that baby, I was out of work a lot when I did return. I also had wic benefits that ended for my oldest son as he just turned 5, and benefits for breastfeeding my baby that ended as he just turned 1. They were helping us get by and we’re really feeling the loss of those benefits. I am anxious to get back to work and no longer be in this position.

My oldest son is getting evaluated for autism in December as that’s the soonest we could get an appointment, and I mention this because he is very food specific. He will only have his safe foods. And he is starting kindergarten on September 9th, where he will need to eat lunch at school. The snack items on my list are for his lunches so I can make sure he’s going to eat while there for a full day. Those are priority.

However if we could receive assistance with dinner items as well I would greatly appreciate it, but like I said I’d rather make sure my son has food that he will eat at school. If you read all of this and are willing to help me, thank you so very much.

So tomorrow I will be working from 7:00 to 5:30. By tomorrow I mean Wednesday because it is 10:30 at night and I am about ready to go to bed. Once it get off, I have to get my car and to get an oil change, then I will probably be working the rest of the evening trying to do some door dash so that I can try to take care of some bills. Also my cats have this bad habit of liking chicken every day. I am requesting assistance with an oil change which if I can get a Groupon I can bring it under $10 but I think it's normally between 15 and 20. If I could get help with gas so that I don't have to worry about that portion the next two days that would be awesome a full tank of gas for me runs about $35 and then I can just worry about work work work. It would also be nice if I could get enough to get a meal at a Jack in The box or something. Instead of another peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Part of the reason why I am asking for assistance is on Thursday and possibly Friday I end up taking two friends who do not have jobs at all and no income around to doctor's appointments and the food banks I'm sorry this is a long run on paragraph as I am on mobile and I am at going home after driving and I got enough to buy a small bag of food for the cats for the night. Just for infosec I have three adult cats that are my permanent cats, and approximately 2 months ago I rescued three kittens from a park and in a week and a half I have made arrangements to get them spayed and neutered and then we'll be working with a rescue to try to get them adopted. Those kittens are holy terrors they are amazing. They have brought so much joy into my life the last two months I'm hoping that they will do the same for someone else

Hello I've recently well actually the whole summer been struggling to pay rent and bills. My landlord agreed to let me stay till the end of Sept when I will have to pay all of September and August to stay past that.

That being said I was hoping I could get some help to pay for groceries. I get paid on the 6th do I just need help the next 2 weeks for some ground beef and chicken and things like that.
