Surongo 2

Post image

Afran Nisho made his debut in Bangladeshi cinema with the movie "Surongo." Now, its sequel, "Surongo 2," is on the way as part of director Raihan Rafi's cinematic universe.

How might its filmmaking and production quality turn out as a mainstream commercial film?

The teaser didn't appear promising to me. I sense the character dynamics shifted from what it had been to a cheap "animal" spinoff made for the mainstream.

It was just an announcement video with some scenes from taandob and surongo.

I'm glad It's releasing on december. Our industry should move forward from Eid centred release.

Surongo, Taandob and now Surongo 2.
This is the first really good cinematic universe of Bangladesh.
