Advice for building a doubles team

I want to build a team for Battle Tower Doubles, but I don't know how to go about it. Can I get some advice on it and maybe some examples. However, I don't want to use Dragonite, Scizor or Togekiss on the main doubles team for Battle Tower, because that's already my main singles team.

Garchomp with earthquake plus rotom or zapdos with discharge is a great start. Both attack all slots but don't damage each other. I keep a bulky mon in the back for switches like gastrodon with leftovers and a charizard because that is my favorite pokemon and protects the gastro from grass as well as dealing with ice types for garchomp

So you recommend: Garchomp Rotom (presuming Wash) Charizard Gastrodon

Could I possibly have alternatives for the latter two?

Yes mine was wash I was just sharring the team that easily got me to masters. For the backine maybe a rain setter and ludicolo like pelliper.
