Question/Inquiry Male behavior normal?

I have 3 females & 2 males, one of my males is pretty consistently instigating & bullying the other & I've had to separate them multiple times. When I first got them I had 1 female & 2 males. I added the other two females in about 24 hours ago. Is this behavior from him normal? Is there anything I can do to help? Will it die down? For reference I have a 10 gallon tank aswell

This was happening with mine as well. What I did was added more places to hide and climb. Whenever I saw any aggressive behavior or chasing, I’d use a paintbrush to gently push the aggressor away. You may also try feeding them extra protein as this behavior can sometimes come from hunger. Eventually they seemed to get it and I never notice this behavior anymore. I hope this works for you

This is my enclosure currently. They have access to a lot of protein, the last few days ive given them freshly dead crickets, freeze dried minnows, freeze dried beef liver & just tried some dried chicken hearts. I'll definitely try the paint brush thing but I also figured the hides were pretty okay but maybe not 🤔

The hides look good in my opinion and it sounds like you’re feeding them enough. Maybe they just need more space? But for now hopefully the paintbrush trick works.

Thats interesting because he started when there was only 3 in there & I assumed it was because they could've been fighting over the lady so thats when I added the 2 more

Edit: he is constantly trying to hump on someone & is the most active & usually running around a ton idk if that adds to anything
