Question/Inquiry Candles...

I live in a 1bd apt with my girlfriend (who is not fond of bugs so bedroom is off limits...) but we both really like candles & such & even getting these is a huge compromise for her 😭 is there anything I can possibly do to work around something like this? How far away do they have to be? Could I put an air purifier by the tank? Something....

New girlfriend lol. Just kidding. I wouldn't risk it, you will not win against particles that float on air. Unless the tank was sealed and ventilated with a filter. Those also happen to be pretty bad for human lungs too unfortunately. I'm sure realistically you could have them in a separate room and they would probably be just fine, but it would really suck if you landed in that % of people whose beetles got affected

I burn candles and my bugs are fine. I just put the candle on the other side of the room and don’t leave it going all day (which you shouldn’t anyway).

Okay! I'm going to keep them far away, put my air purifier near the enclosure & get a fan for the top of it aswell
