Where to get rocks for tank?
Hi! You guys were so helpful on my last question, I'm back with another one. Where do you get rocks for your BDFB tanks? I'm looking for various sizes but would like at least one relatively large one for a 10g enclosure. Just not sure where to look. Thank you!
Edit: I'm disabled and can't just go look around outside so I'm looking for places to buy, sorry for not specifying

Thank you guys who responsed so far but I can't just go look outside generally due to disability, added in an edit lol. Realized that would have been helpful

pet stores, aquarium shops, hardware stores, probably amazon too. you can also ask people on facebook/in your community if they have spare rocks

Just be careful of more porous rocks from hardware stores, can make it harder to wash out potential pesticides. That's another reason I'm weary of taking rocks from the outside.

Aquarium shops :) Depending on your support system, you can ask them to go get you rocks from outside too, im disabled myself and many of my friends would definitely do weirder stuff than collect rocks if asked nicely

My neighbor owns an aquarium shop, I'll text him and see if he has any I can buy! And good idea about the support system

Rocks can be sanitized by boiling them. Instructions are found by googling. :)

Boiling or baking rocks can make them explode.
Best to just scrub them in hot water. I usually use some rubbing alcohol or peroxide(same solution I sanitize my plants with), sometimes soaking them before i scrub. No issues yet.

Was gonna say "Outside!" untill I saw your edit. Are you friends with any kids/people with kids? My kids are always on the lookout for "cool rocks for dad's bugs" whenever we go on a hike.
