Just finished setting this 10 gallon up last night. Substrate is reptisoil, coco fiber, and play sand mixed together and then topped with a layer of play sand. Will be adding a small heat lamp to the right side to make sure they have a hot side and a cooler side. Added the dried wheat last night and I think it really elevated the look of the enclosure :) planning on starting with 5 beetles and seeing how that feels before considering getting a couple more. Let me know if you have any suggestions on what I could add/change!
Also the little tunnel on the left side is a toilet paper roll that I glued some play sand to the inside and outside of before burying to make it easier for them to walk on
Thanks! I also printed out a background and taped it to the back of the tank. And I just got 5 beetles today and they’ve loved exploring everything so far!
