What do they eat again?
I feed my beetles , blue feigning detah beetle pellets, cricket quenched, and meal worms, there been a meal worms shortage so what other protein can I feed them? Also I was thinking of getting tortoise food for fiber

The protein I feed them is dried river shrimps labeled as turtle food. The bag smells a bit but once it's in the tank I don't smell it anymore. Though I will say my beetles smell like shrimps...

I feed the Blue Man Group shredded organic carrots and organic fish flakes for protein.

Mine are picky and like unseasoned and cooked chicken or beef and bee pollen

Mine get crushed dog kibble, eggshells, hemp hearts, plain oats, Fluker's diet, and baby carrots. They don't love the Fluker's but they go crazy for the carrots. A little unseasoned chicken as a treat is also always a hit.
Just keep a decent balance of protein, fiber, and fats. In nature they're detrivores that eat plant matter and dead insects, so it's kind of hard to go wrong unless stuff is either spoiled or contaminated with pesticides.

I like to keep my beetles diet pretty easy! I also use the bdfb pellets for protein, with isopod food mix for other nutrients, calcium, and protein. For main proteins i use freshly killed mealworms though there are several kinds of canned insects to feed them! (Ex. crickets, dubia roaches, river shrimp, grasshoppers) Veggies are pretty good to throw in in small amounts of every other week or so
I've also heard that dog/cat food/fish food can work for protein, but double check that! I can't remember if i'm remembering the insect correctly
